Langtang trekking is the
third popular trekking route in Nepal from where you can see best
view of snowy peaks Exploring Langtang region on the way you may
encounter many beautiful mountains and snow covered peak which make
excited to stay longer in a same place. As I have already told you
that main popular places of Langtang trekking are Kyanjing Gompa and
Tserko Ri who reach Kyanjing Gompa. Traditional types of village,
Buddhist monasteries, small peaks like, Gang Chhenpo, Ganesh Himal
Naya Kangri, Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa, and if you go Gosainkund
you will see Gourisankar Mt. Manaslu, and many more white peaks, and
glaciers are the main elements of attraction. According to legend, a
lama following a runaway yak discovered the valley. Hence the name -
Lang is Tibetan for yak and tang (more correctly dhang) means to
follow. Yaks still live in the valley, but they now share it with
trekkers. Another route to Gosainkund is lake so Hindu pilgrimage
are visit the Gosainkund. |
